Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School joins Torrens University Australia

We have some very exciting news about the Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School (BMIHMS) that we’d like to share with you.

For almost 25 years, BMIHMS has been launching the careers of thousands of hospitality management graduates in one of the fastest growing industries in the world. What was started in 1991 is now recognised by the industry as the number one hospitality management school in Australia and Asia-Pacific (TNS 2013).

As of this year, BMIHMS has joined Torrens University Australia to become BMIHMS at Torrens University.

It’s an exciting time for BMIHMS. Partnering with Torrens University Australia will greatly benefit our students and enhance our profile with prospective students, industry and within academia.

This move increases collaboration between Laureate’s institutions in Australia, improves opportunities and outcomes for students and creates an environment that will encourage further innovation.

BMIHMS at Torrens University retains all the elements that make BMIHMS unique – our name, identity, campuses, applied learning, great teachers, industry connections, alumni and reputation – but with enhanced university prestige, pathways and opportunities.

There are no changes to existing course delivery modes or student support arrangements; course names or structures; or academic achievements and credits to date. The only noticeable change for students is that when they graduate, they will now receive the benefit of a university qualification.

Previous graduates of BMIHMS will have the opportunity to gain a university qualification by taking advantage of our pathway into postgraduate programs on offer at Torrens University Australia. Being part of Laureate International Universities, BMIHMS at Torrens University is also connected with over 80 universities worldwide.
