Recently the team from William Blue College of Hospitality Management and Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School received a total of 16 awards at the Tourism, Hospitality & Catering Institute of Australia presentation evening!
What are the Tourism, Hospitality & Catering Institute awards?
Every year, the Tourism Hospitality and Catering Institute of Australia awards teachers and trainers working across 8 different categories; Commercial Cookery, Asian Cookery, Patisserie, Hospitality Management, Food and Beverage, Travel and Tourism, Event Management, and Classroom Support.
There are also another two categories for the training institutions themselves: Food Service Outlet, and Training Initiative.
Some of the awards our talented staff received included: 4 Presidents Awards for Hospitality Management Teacher of the year (Stephen Fraser), Food and Beverage Management Teacher of the year (Rebecca Spillane), and Patisserie Teacher of the year (Megan Dunn). What an incredible outcome – it’s great to have all your hard work recognised!
William Blue Dining also received an award for the best Restaurant of the Year.
