Torrens University announces partnership with the Melbourne Football Club

As the preferred education partner of the Melbourne Football Club, Torrens University will provide the Club’s AFL& AFLW players, coaches, staff, members and partners with the chance to further their education with access to our wide variety of courses and study options.

Torrens University Chief Commercial Officer Jerome Casteigt said the university was proud and excited to be partnering with the Melbourne Football Club.

“This partnership allows players, staff and other key stakeholders of the club to pursue a flexible and quality education, to help them grow and develop their career opportunities,” Mr Casteigt said.

“An exciting part of the partnership with the Melbourne Football Club is that our students will have the opportunity to undertake internships with the club, enhancing their industry experience and enabling them to be ‘job ready’ when they graduate.”

Torrens University offers undergraduate, graduate, higher degree by research and specialised degree programs in a wide range of academic disciplines, delivering programs both online and in-person. Melbourne Football Club Chief Executive Officer Gary Pert said the club was delighted to welcome Torrens University as an official partner.

The three-year partnership with the Melbourne Football Club will also connect Torrens University with the wider Melbourne Football Club community, showcasing our full range of flexible education options and the partnership as a whole.
