Professor Scott Thompson-Whiteside
Executive Dean, Design and Creative Technology
Scott has more than 20 years of academic experience, leading various programs, schools and faculties across Europe, Asia and Australia. Trained as an industrial designer, he moved into design management and later acquired a master's degree and PhD in design leaderships. Scott is a strong advocate for internationalisation, industry-engaged teaching, high-quality student outcomes and interdisciplinary research, and brings those passions to his role at Torrens University. Scott's own research interests intersect the disciplines of design education, higher education policy, design strategy and innovation.

Robyn Latimer, OAM
Associate Dean, Design and Creative Technology
In her 25-year design career, Robyn has owned a studio, directed a company and led countless community projects. Having worked in magazines and advertising, she specialised in publishing before progressing to education, which was a natural fit. She advocates for equity of access to lifelong learning and online education. In 2010, Robyn received a NSW Volunteer of the Year Award, and in 2018, an Order of Australia Medal.
