This course is developed in collaboration with the Australian Government Digital Transformation Agency, with graduates eligible to apply for the Australian Government Digital Graduate Program

This course is made up of a combination of 6-week micro-credentials and 12-week subjects that stack to build the full qualification. You can study part or full-time depending on your schedule and tailor it to your needs. All micro-credentials and subjects are 100% online meaning you study when you can. Each week you’ll have access to live sessions with our award-winning facilitators to guide you through the content and answer any questions you may have.

Course Overview

Address the rapid demand of industries confronted with Digital Transformation to create a fluid, agile approach to managing people, process and platforms. The Master of Digital Transformation and Creative Intelligence (MDTCI) will equip professionals with a broad range of knowledge to meet the needs of the work environment combined with advanced strategic and leadership skills gained through a deep and practice focused study. The course prepares students to be interdisciplinary, collaborative thinkers and problem solvers with a global perspective on issues affecting transformation of the work environment in the twenty-first century.

Course learning outcomes:

CLO 1 Investigate and interpret the purpose and function of emerging technologies that lead to digital transformation including the role that people, process, platforms and creativity play as key transformation enablers.

CLO 2 Synthesise critical and creative thinking frameworks to review organisational capacity and readiness for interacting with contemporary digital environments.

CLO 3 Plan and execute innovative digital transformation solutions addressing ethical issues in practice, while articulating the field and the global nature of digital technology represented.

CLO 4 Exhibit sound judgment, non-partisanship and accountability, to direct and lead others to achieve effective digital transformation solutions.

CLO 5 Apply highly developed communication skills to transfer complex knowledge and ideas about digital transformation to influence and persuade a variety of audiences.

CLO 6 Assess and reflect on the significance of social justice and human rights through the development and implementation of human-centred design strategies.

CLO7 Participate with industries and communities in a dialogue to identify and assess the opportunities and constraints of digital transformation solutions.

CLO8 Demonstrate mastery of appropriate qualitative, quantitative or mixed research methods to incubate a chosen project.

CLO9 Apply rigorous intellectual analysis, criticism and problem-solving in order to create a range of solutions to identified problems.

The standard entry requirement is a completed qualification at AQF Level 7 (Bachelor degree) or above from an Australian University in a relevant field of study or an equivalent overseas higher education qualification or equivalent.

Students without an undergraduate degree, may be admitted on the basis of
  • At least 3 years professional experience in software development (documented e.g. CV), demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success; AND
  • A discipline specific portfolio; AND
  • A recommendation letter from 2 most recent employers (applicable to international students, and in addition to academic or special entry requirements noted above)
