Anna has 15 years of experience in academia and holds a PhD in Business Economics. In addition to her role as Senior Learning Facilitator for Torrens University’s MBA program, she is a supervisor for Higher Degree Research students.

Darren has worked in sport, education and the not-for-profit sector for more than 25 years, including nine years at the Port Adelaide Football Club (AFL). Darren is completing his PhD on corporate social responsibility at professional sport teams and is a life member of his local football club.

Marcus Crook

Co-Founder and Creative Director of HoMie  Marcus is the Co-Founder and Creative Director of HoMie, a Melbourne-based streetwear label using 100% of profits to provide clothing, training and job opportunities to young people affected by homelessness and hardship. HoMie’s REBORN line tackles mass waste by using upcycled materials. In 2020, Marcus was awarded the Victorian Premier’s Design Award for Fashion Design.

Now the Product and Projects Director at LADBible Group, Taylor will be joining us to talk about where an adventure into communication design can take you.

Ian Breakspear

Senior Learning Facilitator (Naturopath and Western Herbal Medicine)
A highly experienced educator, clinician and researcher in herbal and naturopathic medicine, Ian has worked in the field since 1993. He treats cardiovascular and chronic inflammatory conditions and diabetes. He’s Chair of the Naturopathic Editorial Board for the Natural Health Science Foundation, Chair of the NHAA Board Member Advisory Committee and a member of Scientific Steering Committee for Boundary Bend Olives.

Amelia recently graduated from Torrens University with a degree in Hospitality Management. She has experience with Coles Group as a customer service agent and for the past two years she has been working at Pullman Sydney Hyde Park.

Jennifer Ward

Senior Naturopath and Owner, Halsa Health
Jennifer is a senior naturopath trained in herbal medicine, nutritional medicine, and health and lifestyle coaching, and is currently completing a Masters of Reproductive Medicine. Jennifer’s passion lies in reproductive health and she works with her patients' healthcare teams to provide support and guidance throughout the journey, including stage by stage supplement support, dietary advice, movement and mindfulness support.

Dr. Simon Pawson

Associate Dean, Hospitality 
Teaching for 15 years, Simon is an academic leader and researcher with two decades’ of experience. His areas of interest include business, marketing, strategic management, social/environmental justice and sustainable tourism. Simon has been an active researcher and social advocate in Cambodia since 2002 and is currently the Associate Dean of Hospitality, Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School and Torrens University Australia.
