Founder + Creative Director SANS BEAST
Cathryn's career spans almost 30 years in the Australian fashion industry, from knitwear design manager at Country Road to managing and creative director at Mimco. In 2017, she established Sans Beast, a design-led, high-end quality bag brand that is PETA-accredited, vegan and donates to animal sanctuary Edgar's Mission with every purchase made on the website.
Head of Brand, Fluff Cosmetics
Ellen graduated Billy Blue in 2015 and is now head of brand at Fluff Casual Cosmetics, a Melbourne based start-up changing the face of the beauty industry. With a passion for storytelling, Ellen is driven to create meaningful content through user experience, the power of community, the way consumer behaviour informs brand decisions and authentic brand transparency.
Independent designer & wholesaler for Dogstar
Joshua is a Billy Blue graduate and independent designer, as well as a wholesaler for fashion label Dogstar. Joshua's own label, Djordjewitsch, is ruled by unconventional designs and brutalist silhouettes in luxury fabrics. Joshua has collaborated with First Nations artists for Brisbane Fashion Month and hosted an exhibit of work in a Studio Space.

Current student, Interior Design and Decoration
Julia is an American-Filipina entrepreneur who is passionate about property development, styling and management. Through her own company, JQ Properties, Julia provides the full spectrum of property services ranging from styling, decorating and designing to short-term rental management. Julia is a professional freediver in her spare time and is currently studying interior design at Billy Blue.
Designer for Studio Hillenberg and Zeroplus
After seven years working for a global top-tier accounting firm, Sue switched careers to the interior design industry. Sue collaborates with design research group Zeroplus on social enterprise design projects, helped create an award-winning design book Uncovering Morocco: Materials and Finishes with Billy Blue lecturers, and is building her own design business while working here as a Student Mentor.

Communication Design Graduate
Taylor is a Billy Blue graduate and scholarship winner who has worked with a world-class line-up of clients including Justin Bieber, VIVID Sydney, ANZ, Hyundai and more. Now the Product and Projects Director at LADBible Group, Taylor will be joining us to talk about where an adventure into communication design can take you.
