Torrens MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) The Voices of Autism 30 APRIL – 1 JUNE
Voices of Autism MOOC is a completely free online course available to anyone who is interested in learning more about the day-to-day needs of a person with autism and their family.
The Education team have created this course to raise awareness of an often-misunderstood condition. We use a design-thinking framework to develop problem-solving skills for increased knowledge and understanding of autism. We believe that real inclusion in Education brings real change.
This 5 week course will require approximately 2 hours online, on-demand, per week. At the end of the 5 weeks you will receive a certificate of completion. For those wanting Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) to credit further study in our autism courses, you will need to complete a final project and pay a fee of $75 for the academic certificate.
Register before 16 April.

TORRENS MOOC: THE VOICES OF AUTISM
We are changing the way autism is seen by using a person first approach. That is, we put ourselves in to the shoes of the person with autism and their family to gain a deeper insight to the day to day lived experience.
