Torrens University and TechForce Services nurturing future business technology leaders

Torrens University Australia and TechForce Services are thrilled to announce a significant industry collaboration aimed at promoting innovation and supporting talent within the business and technology sectors.

TechForce Services, and its experiential learning initiative TechForce Academy, will collaborate with Torrens University to provide internships, mentorship programs, and industry-relevant projects for students pursuing business technology related degrees.

Chief Marketing Officer, Industry Partnerships Darryn Melrose said the collaboration reflected the university’s commitment to providing students with an industry-focused education.

“TechForce Services and Torrens University believe that this collaboration will make a significant contribution to the advancement of business, technology and innovation, creating an exciting ecosystem for both students and industry professionals,” Mr Melrose said.

“With joint workshops and guest lectures, we will be enhancing the exchange of knowledge between the academic and corporate worlds. This hands-on experience will empower students to develop practical skills and knowledge, better preparing them for successful careers in the tech industry.”

Director of TechForce Services Sathis Babu said TechForce was excited to collaborate with Torrens University as they worked together to nurture the next generation of business technology leaders.

“By combining our industry expertise with Torrens University’s commitment to academic excellence, we aim to establish a mutually beneficial collaboration that supports students and the technology industry as a whole,” said Mr Babu.

“It is also an opportunity for our staff to take advantage of opportunities for higher education and professional development through Torrens University.”
