WHO CAN APPLY FOR EARLY ENTRY?
Early Entry is available for most UNE degrees, for;
- Current Year 12 students
- Full-time students preparing to sit the full NSW
- HSC in TAFE colleges in NSW and the ACT
- Full-time TAFE Tertiary Preparation Certificate
Pre-application does not guarantee admission to all courses; however, a study pathway to a specific course or qualification will be provided wherever possible.
HOW TO APPLY FOR EARLY ENTRY?
STEP 1 – GET READY
Register and confirm your details using the Step 1 form on this page to begin your Early Entry application. You will receive an automatic email confirming your interest in Early Entry and informing you that a course and careers advisor will be in contact.
STEP 2 – APPLYING
After you have filled in the form on this page, a course and careers advisor will be in touch within 2 business days to discuss your options and help you submit your Early Entry application. Your application will be confirmed via email. For any questions that require urgent attention, you’re welcome to call us on 1300 575 803 (Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm).
STEP 3 – SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS
Once you’ve successfully submitted your application you will be asked to supply necessary supporting documents. This will be specific to your course and may include; your most recent school report, your major work/ portfolio or a personal statement.
STEP 4 – OUTCOME OF YOUR APPLICATION
Successful applicants will receive an offer in November. You can accept your offer immediately and secure your place. Please note: If you do not receive an Early Entry place, it doesn’t mean you won’t get a place, you may still be considered through the usual UAC/QTAC/VTAC application or direct entry process. You can also ask for help with the application at any time by phoning the institution.
The Early Entry Program for February 2017 intake is open from Friday 24 June 2016 – Thursday 29 September 2016.
