What is a Graduate Diploma of Education?

The Graduate Diploma of Education allows current teachers, education practitioners and professionals to enhance their skills, research capabilities and expertise in specific areas of educational theory and practice.

Choose from three specialisation streams:

Leadership and Innovation

Through a leadership lens, gain theoretical and practical insights to identify challenges and opportunities in education. Learn to devise effective strategies in response, understand technology's role in modern learning settings and critically assess contemporary educational innovations.

Inclusive Literacies

Investigate literacy practices, focusing on diagnosis and intervention. Learn to manage reading literacy in culturally and linguistically diverse contexts. Grounded in research on inclusion, leadership and social justice, this course equips you to effect change in program, policy and project design.

Inclusive Education

Employing a person-centred approach, this course develops skills to address diverse learning needs. Informed by evidence-based research and pedagogy, and neurodivergent community consultations, it equips you to assist autistic and neurodiverse individuals, as well as those with mental health challenges.
