We had one of the most successful and exciting Open Day’s this past weekend!
Thanks to all the people who got involved in the Torrens community and gained a better understanding of what it’s really like to study with us.
The teams at Torrens worked tirelessly to ensure there were exciting workshops, lots of delicious nibbles, inspiring talks and plenty of knowledgeable teachers to help you find a career you love. Our goal at Open Day is to immerse you in your chosen study. For example, students who want to study Hospitality get involved in preparing and serving meals. Design & Tech enthusiasts participate in photo shoots, VR adventures and other creative workshops. Health nuts get involved in aromatherapy workshops and a counselling roleplays. Business students learn tips from our successful alumni and understand how they can use their innate strengths to succeed.
If you missed out, don’t worry. Here are the biggest highlights:
Psst – if you live in Adelaide, your Open Day is actually this Sunday the 12th! Register here.
DESIGN & TECHNOLOGY
Design and Gaming enthusiasts had a blast getting lost in their creative worlds. Our Design and Technology courses are offered across Australia. We have campuses in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Adelaide offering everything from graphic design, photography, fashion design, to game art.
Our future Hospitality students experienced a hands-on entree plating workshop and mocktail making workshop. All guests were served a meal prepared and cooked by our culinary students and served by hospitality students at William Blue Dining.
Our future Business students learned from our inspiring alumni and got involved in a strengths-based workshop. One of the biggest perks of being a student at Torrens University is the opportunity to have a dedicated coach who helps you thrive throughout your program. Learn more about our Success Coaches do and who they are.
Our health campuses were in the full bloom in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. There were workshops in aromatherapy, superfood recipes, human anatomy and counselling role plays. We also had our alumni share memories and advice to inspire the next generation of health professionals.
If you couldn’t make it to our Open Day set up a campus tour with us so we can go through everything with you one on one. Also, if you live in Adelaide, Open Day is this Sunday!
