10 things to do at Open Day

Torrens University Open Day | Australia

Torrens University is Australia’s global university, offering courses in Business, Design, Hospitality, Education and so much more!

At Torrens University, we pride ourselves on our small class sizes, dedicated success coaches, industry expert teachers and our inclusive community atmosphere. We believe in a more hands-on approach, we think you learn best when you actually do the work in industry placements.

Come by our Open Day if you’re interested in learning more about courses in Hospitality, Design, Education, Business, and Health. This is a perfect opportunity to ask questions, understand course requirements and get a real feel for the environment you’ll be learning in.

“It’s so important to see and feel where you’re going to study. When I was first shown around the school, I knew straight away that this was where I wanted to study. It’s a beautiful building that reflects the wisdom of the people who’ve walked before me. It has a certain vibe, which is really different from other places that offer similar courses”
Karla Rawles, Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy)

“The highlight of attending open day was simply that I was able to gain a real understanding of the campus, what life would be like as a student and the overall vibe. I felt such a warm welcome from everyone, and there was a lot of excitement on campus. It was at that point I knew that William Blue was the place for me.”

9. Personal branding workshops

Our Business faculty welcomes students to learn practical insights on how to build a Personal Brand. This workshop is co-hosted by Academics, Industry experts and Students to give you advice on how to stand apart from the crowd. Discover how to sell yourself to anyone and learn how you can be passionately employed in a career you love.

“I was nervous to attend Open Day not knowing anyone there but everyone made me feel really welcome right away. I love that you can talk face-to-face with students and sit in on info sessions hosted by the Academics. It was really important for me to understand where this degree could take me, so participating in the workshops allowed me to ask questions about internships and the University partnerships”
Madison Browne, Event Management student

Our Alumni and Industry will show you how they got where they are today. Be prepared to be inspired (and take notes on their pro-tips!)
