Scott Skipworth
Program Director, Interior Design
Scott continuously strives for our interior design suite of courses to pulsate with industry relevance and to generate the future of
professional practice. Scott’s academic leadership is informed by his master’s degree from Chicago’s Illinois Institute of Technology and professional experience with influential New York City and Sydney studios, including Gwathmey Siegel, Ike Kligerman Barkley and fjmt Studio. He is completing his PhD with Torrens University Australia. Through textual research into the philosophy of Gilles Deleuze, Scott’s PhD thesis conceptualises the built environment’s Internet of Things (IoT) as newly disseminating human embodiment with empowering, but also some alarming, potentialities.

Specialising in fashion marketing and branding, Russell has spent more than 20 years in the fashion industry, using his skills as a designer
and educator to empower individuals and organisations to achieve results. Along the way, he has worked with companies such as Globe International and Pacific Brands, managing marketing for an array of youth fashion brands including Stussy, Superdry, Mossimo and Mooks. Russell is passionate about fashion brand development and strategically aligning product and brand to meet consumer need. He is keenly interested in the impact that technology and questions of ethical production and sustainable practice will have for emerging fashion designers as they enter and transform the industry.

Robyn Latimer, OAM
Director, Learning Services 
In her 25-year design career, Robyn has owned a studio, directed a company and led countless community projects. Having worked in 
magazines and advertising, she specialised in publishing before progressing to education, which was a natural fit. She advocates for equity of access to lifelong learning and online education. In 2010, Robyn received a NSW Volunteer of the Year Award, and in 2018, an Order of Australia Medal.

Tony Jan
Associate Professor Tony Jan
Program Director, Information Technology

He holds a PhD in machine learning in network security, a Bachelor’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering and has been
responsible for the accreditation of prominent IT education programs across Australia. With over 20 years’ leadership experience in the education and technology sector, Tony is a member of the Australian Computer Society and is an experienced ACS accreditation review board member. He serves as associate editor for a number of journals and has published over 60 articles and conference proceedings focussed on innovative machine-learning algorithms related to financial data, automated video surveillance, artificial intelligence-driven cybersecurity and automated applications related to Industry 4.0. He has also been involved in ARC Discovery on automated video surveillance systems and a number of industry-sponsored research projects related to face recognition and automated credit risk assessment, received more than $600,000 in homeland security research grants. As a prize-winning teacher and ardent learner, Tony thrives on interactions with students which is demonstrable in having supervised 6 PhD and 20 Masters students to completion.

Liam Key
Senior Learning Facilitator, UX and Web Design
Liam has freelanced in industry for the past 10 years, working with clients such as ABC and Queensland Government.
Liam also works as an experimental digital artist producing award winning projects in fields such as post-production, 3D animation, virtual reality, interaction design, robotics, projection mapping, VJing, interactive public installation and is currently focusing on laser light installations.
