You are invited to attend the Torrens University Australia 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) Finals, where our talented HDR students will present their research in a concise, engaging, and accessible format - in just three minutes!

This exciting event is your opportunity to support our students as they compete for a place in the Virtual Asia-Pacific 3MT Final, scheduled for Wednesday 15 October.

The TUA session will include up to 16 entrants presenting via prerecorded video, with the opportunity for a people’s choice vote on the day. The final entrant to the Virtual Asia-Pacific 3MT final will be selected by the nominated voting panel, with the finalist to be announced on Friday 22nd August.

The 3MT is an academic competition developed by The University of Queensland that challenges PhD students to effectively communicate the significance of their research to a non-specialist audience in just three minutes. It’s a celebration of research, communication and impact.
