National Sales Manager, Meriton Suites
Wendy has worked in corporate sales at Meriton Suites for 13 years. Going from overseeing five hotels at the start of her role to 14 hotel openings across Australia, she is committed to the company's growth. In 2017, Wendy was a finalist at the NSW Tourism Accommodation Australia Awards for Excellence for Sales Employee of the Year.

Kaye Cheung

A graduate of Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School at Torrens University Australia, Kaye has worked all over Australia in various roles, from events to front office to revenue management. Realising her passion for people, Kaye moved into the HR space, where she's committed to developing talent and shaping the next generation of hospitality leaders.

Sophie Seeger

Senior Learning Facilitator, Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School
Sophie has more than two decades of experience in accommodation and events. She has worked for the world’s leading luxury hotel brands, including InterContinental, Sheraton and Westin. Sophie managed workforce accommodation for the 2010 Winter Olympics and was appointed accommodation manager for MCI Group (PCO) in Vancouver. She has been teaching since 2016, both in Australia and Canada.

Greg Alexander

Australian former professional rugby league footballer
Greg is an NRL legend, captaining the Penrith Panthers to their first championship in 1991. Since retiring, he has forged a successful career as a broadcaster and presenter.
As a proud partner of the Panthers, Torrens University is delighted to welcome Greg to Open Day to share his knowledge with the next generation of people leaders and managers.

Lisa Walsh

Program Director, Counselling & Community Services
Lisa is a qualified teacher and psychologist. She has taught in high schools and at university level in the areas of psychology, counselling and community services. Working in public and private hospitals as a case manager and a psychologist Lisa facilitated group therapy and supported those with acute mental health conditions.

Lucy Zelić

SBS Sports Presenter
Lucy Zelić is the host of SBS's soccer coverage, including the World Cup and Champions League broadcasts. After graduating with a Bachelor of Journalism & Sports Business, Lucy joined SBS in 2013.
