Research Management Services (RMS) provides strategic and operational support to the University’s research program, working in partnership with colleagues across the university’s research ecosystem.
About Research Management Services
The RMS team provides a comprehensive range of services to support the research community at Torrens University Australia:
- Research Grant Development: RMS is proactive in building Torrens University’s research profile by working with researchers to identify and develop research opportunities. We support researchers in the development, preparation and submission of research grant applications.
- Post-award Administration: RMS provides post-award administration of research grants, contracts, and external awards. We ensure compliance with funding guidelines and university policies and procedures and provide guidance on contractual aspects of funding arrangements. We manage the lifecycle of grants and contracts, ensuring reporting obligations are met.
- Research Ethics and Integrity: We provide advice and support in relation to the ethical conduct of research at Torrens University Australia, including administrative support for the Human Research Ethics Committee and Low and Negligible Risk Panel. We support research integrity, and compliance with the Australian Code.
- Research Governance: RMS supports the development and implementation of university research strategy and policy.
