Our Health courses offer the most up-to-date software, learning tools and facilities, so you start learning and training in healthcare environments from day one. The Practice Wellbeing Centre in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne is an industry-standard clinic open to the public so you can practise everything you learn.
Our state-of-the-art Nursing facilities incorporate simulation wards populated with high-fidelity mannequins, so you graduate comfortable in Nursing situations.

Senior learning facilitator for Naturopathy and Western Herbal Medicine
Holding a Master of Herbal Medicines, Diplomas of Naturopathy and Botanical Medicine, and a Certificate of Phytotherapy, Ian has been active in the field since 1993. His personal clinical practice focuses on patients with cardiovascular conditions, diabetes and chronic inflammatory conditions.In addition to his educational role and clinical practice, Ian is an active researcher and author in the field of herbal quality and safety, and sits on various scientific, educational and professional steering committees.
Senior learning facilitator for Nutrition
Teresa is a skilled naturopath with a career that spans more than 20 years. An advocate of integrative medicine and highly experienced in therapies based on both traditional and evidence-based medicines, Teresa has a particular interest and experience in chronic illness, chemotherapy and radiation support, joint and muscle disorders, gastrointestinal conditions and mood. Alongside her role at Torrens University, she is also the nutritional advisor to Bowel Cancer Australia and the former vice president of the Australian National Medicine Society.
Lecturer for Health
Tim is co-owner of a large paediatric speech, occupational and music therapy allied health clinic in Melbourne’s northwest, heading a team more than two dozen people. His previous experience as a psychotherapist and counsellor have equipped him to create an organisation that offers high-quality caring to patients and support to the next generation of carers, and he brings those skills to bear in his role at Torrens University.
Lecturer for Health
As well as a Bachelor and Master of Social Work and a Master of Public Health, Nicky has more than 25 years’ experience in clinical practice, research, academia, and public and private health management, including consulting to human service agencies, not-for-profit organisations and small businesses. Nicky is passionate about addressing health and social inequalities, especially through her role as a teacher. She contributes to the curriculum design and lectures in both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in human services, social work, social science community services and counselling.
Lecturer for Health
Deborah is a psychotherapist, clinical supervisor and facilitator. With more than 20 years’ experience in the mental health industry, she has worked with individuals and couples experiencing challenges. As a qualified clinical supervisor, she supports professional counsellors and hypnotherapists to develop their skills and expertise. Deborah has also collaborated with a variety of corporations to deliver workshops and certified trainings in Australia and abroad. She is passionate about making meaningful change and is dedicated to the personal and professional development of students, clients and colleagues.
