This ranking is an improvement of 9 positions from last year’s ranking of 27th.

CEO Magazine’s Global MBA Top 20 Ranking

CEO Magazine’s Global MBA Rankings consider all the components of an MBA examining the quality of faculty, international diversity, class size, accreditation, price, international exposure, professional development, and gender parity among others.

Professor Alwyn Louw, Vice-Chancellor of Torrens University, said the boost in ranking was a testament to the relevance of industry-connected curriculum that meets global business needs as well as improvements in international diversity and gender parity.

“The fact that we are now ranked in the world’s top 20 online MBAs clearly validates our commitment to providing a qualification that is built around the current industry’s ever-changing landscape and new and unique challenges,” said Professor Louw.

“It is a clear indication of our success in creating a program that responds to industry and creates in-demand graduates ready to adapt to the future of business across the globe.”

CEO Magazine’s ranking system helps potential students navigate a congested international market by cutting through the noise and providing a performance benchmark entirely geared and weighted to fact-based criteria.

Professor Greg Harper, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Business and Hospitality at Torrens University, said it was the real-world insights that its academics provided that set its graduates up for immediate success.

“The vast majority of our academics are still active in the industry which means they provide a globally focused and industry-relevant learning experience throughout the program,” said Professor Harper.

Master of Business Administration alumnus experience

Vianney Rouillé, Master of Business Administration (Advanced) alumnus, agreed that the Torrens University MBA’s industry-led teaching approach was the unique differentiator when he was choosing an MBA program.

“It was Torrens University’s personalised approach teamed with lecturers who are industry experts that created an invaluable experience that provided the skills and knowledge to kick-start my career and fast-forward my success in today's challenging and agile work environment,” said Mr Rouillé.

Torrens University Australia’s online MBA was in contention against 76 online MBA offerings and landed 4th among Australia's ten online MBA programs which made the final 60 included in the rankings.

“The recognition is perfect timing as we commence the latest addition to our MBA suite, the MBA (On Demand), an innovative self-paced model that will welcome its first intake in early June,” said Professor Louw.
