Our Fitzroy campus is close to Melbourne’s CBD and is easily accessible by public transport.

A 15-minute walk away, Parliament is the closest train station. If travelling by tram, you can take route 11 West Preston to Victoria Harbour Docklands via Brunswick Street and get off at stop 15 St David Street/Bell Street or stop 16 Johnston Street. Alternatively, you can take route 96 East Brunswick to St Kilda Beach via Nicholson Street and get off at stop 15 Johnston Street/Elgin Street. By bus, take route 200 (City Queen St to Bulleen) or route 207 (City to Doncaster Shoppingtown) along Johnston Street (one street back from Victoria Street) and get off at Brunswick Street. There are bike racks available on campus if you choose to ride, and remember to bring your own lock.

A registered nurse for nearly 40 years, Cath has also worked as a health academic for three decades. Cath firmly believes that access to high-quality education is transformative and key to improving health outcomes for all. Cath’s research has focused on women’s health issues, resilience in the face of illness and the health workforce.

Pam Megaw
Associate Dean of Health and Education 

After completing her PhD in Neuroscience at La Trobe University, Pam conducted post-doctoral research at the Medical College of Wisconsin, USA, studying circadian rhythms. In Australia, she has lectured on human physiology and biochemistry and directed the teaching of physiology and pharmacology across all health-related programs including Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy and Veterinary Science. Pam gained Senior Fellowship of Advance Higher Education.
