Overview
Our Australian Graduate School of Leadership partnership has designed a flexible senior leadership development program for participants under significant time pressures. With “learning by doing” at the core of AGSL’s pedagogical method, this course is aimed at stimulating innovative thinking and capabilities.
Founded in 1970, the International Marketing Institute of Australia Ltd (IMIA) was established by five major Australian corporations and, in 1990, became an independent postgraduate centre for strategic business studies.
The faculty at IMIA was initially comprised of academics from Harvard Business School and other major US and European business schools. In the late 1980s, a strong Australian component was introduced into the faculty and in 1991 the Sydney CBD campus was established.
In 2010, IMIA became the Australian Graduate School of Leadership. Along with its subsidiary, the IMIA Centre for Strategic Business Studies, AGSL continues to offer leadership development and strategic advisory services to organisations and individuals.
The Australian Graduate School of Leadership partnership with Torrens University Australia provides the Doctor of Business Leadership, which is designed to prepare senior executives to take the next step in assuming leadership responsibility in their careers.
Course materials are provided online, allowing participants to study anywhere and at any time. This enables today’s executives, with unpredictable travel commitments and fluctuating workloads, to integrate their study commitments successfully into their lives.
