Design

Billy Blue alumna and lecturer Mariah Burton was named in Australian Design Review’s 30UNDER30 for 2024–25, recognising emerging leaders shaping the future of design. Robbie Carter and Hannah Schmith, both part of Billy Blue, were named among the Top 30 Lecturers in the global The Design Kids (TDK) Awards in 2024. Robbie was also recognised in 2023 alongside colleagues Caro Hunt, Kuen Kam, Mel Maher and Luis Lobos.

Business

MBA lecturers Dr Arezou PourMirza and Associate Professor Heinz Herrmann were named Most Inspirational MBA Lecturers by MBA Australasia in both 2023 and 2024. This award celebrates educators who go beyond academic delivery to support and challenge students to think critically and lead with confidence.
Hayden McDonald was named SAS Academic Partner of the Year for 2024, recognised for innovation in teaching analytics and building meaningful industry collaborations. His work equips students in the Master of Business Analytics with practical tools and partnerships that drive impact in the data-driven economy.

Senior Learning Facilitators Anne Digby, Ian Breakspear and Bettina Schmoll were recognised by the NHAA for their outstanding contributions to naturopathic and herbal medicine education. Anne was honoured for her work in education, Ian received NHAA Life Membership for his service to the profession in 2023, and Bettina was recognised for over 25 years of teaching in herbal medicine in 2025. Alumna Hannah Boyd, NHAA President, was honoured for her leadership, while Sonya Brown received the NHAA Community Award for providing care to vulnerable communities in 2025.
