Lyn has extensive experience in event management, public relations and marketing in both public education and the private sector. She held senior management positions at BHP, Queensland Resources Council and Volvo Group, and consulted for PR, pharmaceutical and industrial services companies.

Allison has been teaching hospitality, tourism and business management across the world for 25 years. She has also shared her expertise with esteemed hospitality brands such as Marriott and Hyatt Hotels. Nurturing positive student-teacher-stakeholder relationships, Allison is passionate about education and the service industry.

As a Business lecturer, Chris possesses a wide range of interests. He is actively engaged in research focused on entrepreneurship and labour exploitation within games fandom. He also explores the philosophical aspects of eSports, cosplay, streaming, games, irlSport and tabletop roleplaying.

An experienced marketing and sales manager, Chandni possesses a demonstrated history in the leisure, travel and tourism sector. She brings her rich industry experience into the classroom, offering real-world insights and fostering an engaging learning environment.

Mark Haynes

Specialising in all aspects of tourism, Mark has more than 25 years of industry experience. He’s been instrumental in destination marketing campaigns, B2B development programs and strategic sustainable tourism development in North America, Asia-Pacific and Europe.

Megan Dunn

Learning Facilitator

Dedicated to continuous development, Megan holds a Master of Business Administration, Graduate Certificate in Business and a Certificate IV in Teaching. With almost a decade of experience as a Learning Facilitator at Torrens University, she passionately mentors students in Hospitality and Business studies.

Katrina Hall

Learning Facilitator

Katrina holds a Bachelor of Business in Hospitality and Tourism from William Blue Hotel Management School. She is pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Torrens University and brings 16 years of experience from various roles at Accor Hotels, spanning front office, reservations and revenue.

Darren Peters

Program Director

Darren Peters is a Program Director for Business and Hospitality at Torrens University Australia. Passionate about personal and organisational innovation and growth, action plus academic research has focused on leadership, coaching, passions, wellbeing, and human locomotion. Prior experience has been gained as Director (Australian Institute of Sport Management, Australian Paralympic Committee), CEO or General Manager (Australian Paralympic Committee, Rowing Australia, Surf Lifesaving Australia), and Senior Management roles (Director, Campus Wellbeing and Engagement at Macquarie University), plus in customer service (Banking). Hobbies include sprint running and surfing.
