What is a Graduate Certificate of Education (Innovation and Change)?

A Graduate Certificate of Education (Innovation and Change) gives you the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge that you can apply to extend your professional practice. You will bring change and innovation to the forefront by transforming education at an individual, department and whole-of-school level.
This course provides you with advanced theoretical and practical knowledge around best practices in identifying issues and opportunities in teaching and learning. Learn to design methods of responding to such issues through practice, and the role of technology in supporting innovation in contemporary learning settings. The program aims to provide you with a set of advanced technical skills and tools that can be applied across a range of settings, and to reinforce a mindset of critical reflection that can be applied in future practice, as well as in response to current issues and opportunities. This is not an accredited Australian Initial Teacher Education course and therefore does not qualify the student to teach in Australia.
