We have many scholarships for new international students available, no matter which area of study you’re interested in.Alternate Pathway Scholarship
Up to 30% of your total tuition costs
If you have recently graduated from an onshore institution in Australia or are looking for a pathway to study at Torrens University, you may be eligible for the Alternate Pathway Scholarship. It will cover up to 30% of your total course tuition.

Eligibility criteria
Scholarship is for new international students in Australia commencing their study in Trimester 1 or Trimester 1B, 2024. As an international student in Australia, you may be eligible if you have completed an onshore English language program, Australian Year 12, a vocational program or six months of higher education study (unless a release from your current registered provider is obtained, or you may be in the process of applying for a Student Visa onshore in Australia). Undergraduate and postgraduate international students must maintain a full-time study load, 1 EFTSL over a 12-month study period, to maintain their scholarship. Scholarship applicable on tuition fee only and on first attempt subjects only. Full price charged on retake subjects if previously failed. Scholarship may not be eligible for any course changes during the duration of study. This scholarship is for al faculties excluding Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School and Higher Degrees by Research.
New Brisbane Scholarship
Value: up to 30% of your total tuition costs
If you’re planning to study full-time at one of our Brisbane campuses in 2024*, you have the opportunity to apply for these scholarships. It will cover up to 30 per cent of your total course tuition.

Eligibility criteriaScholarship is for new international students commencing their studies at our Brisbane campuses in 2024. Academic conditions apply for the Design, Business and Health merit scholarships. Regional scholarships are provided based on new International student passport. Scholarships valued up to 30% are applicable to new international students from other regions. Undergraduate and postgraduate international students must maintain a full-time study load, 1 EFTSL over a 12-month study period, to maintain their scholarship. Scholarship applicable on tuition fee only and on first attempt subjects. Full price charged on retake subjects if previously failed. Scholarship may not be eligible for any course changes during the duration of study. Students must display an IELTS (or equivalent) 6.5 overall band above the entry requirements and display a minimum of a credit average in previous studies completed (for undergraduate students this refers to previous high school studies, and for postgraduate students this refers to a previous bachelor degree).
New Brisbane Scholarship for Latin American and European students
Value: 35% of your total tuition costs
If you’re a new international student from Latin America or Europe and planning to study full-time at one of our Brisbane campuses in 2024, you have the opportunity to apply for these scholarships. It will cover up to 35 per cent of your total course tuition.

Offshore online
Value: up to 30% of your total tuition costs
If you’re starting your studies offshore and online, you can take advantage of this scholarship, which offers up to 30 per cent off your total course tuition. (You have to continue studying offshore and online for the whole course.) Scholarship may not be available to new international students commencing in some courses.

Scholarship applicable on tuition fee only and on first attempt subjects. Full price charged on retake subjects if previously failed. New international students commencing the Master of Business Administration (On Demand) course are not eligible for this scholarship. However, they may be eligible for the 25% scholarships.
Hospitality Motivational Scholarship
Value: up to 30% of your total tuition costs
Based on previous academic merit, industry experience and your personal situation, this scholarship will cover up to 30 per cent of your total course tuition. It’s available to new international students who are starting out in hospitality.

Design and Creative Technology Merit Scholarship
Value: Up to 30% of your total tuition costs
Based on your previous academic results, work experience and/or portfolio, you could be in the running for a Design Merit Scholarship. They cover 30 per cent of your total course tuition and are available to new international students applying to study with us.

A credit average from previous academic studies, design work experience and an outstanding portfolio submission will be considered for assessing students for this scholarship.
Alumni Scholarship
Value: 25% of your total tuition costs
New international students who have previously studied with us, have an opportunity to apply for the alumni scholarship that covers 25 per cent of your total tuition costs.

Eligibility criteriaNew full-time undergraduate and postgraduate international students who have previously studied at Strategic Education Inc. outside of Australia and New Zealand can be considered for an Alumni Scholarship.
Business Merit Scholarship
Value: 25% of your total tuition costs
Based on your previous academic results, you could be in the running for a Business Merit Scholarship. They cover 25 per cent of your total course tuition and are available to new international students applying to study with us.

Value: 20% of your total tuition costs
If you’re a new international student wanting to expand your skill set with any of our postgraduate Education courses, you have the opportunity to apply for a scholarship that will cover 20 per cent of your total course tuition.

Value: 20% of your total tuition costs
Do you have a certified passport from Japan? Are you planning to study one of our Diploma or Bachelor of Health Science courses at Torrens University Australia? If so, you have the chance to take advantage of a scholarship that will cover 20 per cent of your total course tuition.

SE NE Asia & Greater China Business & Health Merit Scholarship
Value: 20% of your total tuition costs
If you are from Asia or Greater China and are planning to combine an English language course with one of our Business or Health degrees, you have the opportunity to apply for this regional scholarship. It will cover 20 per cent of your total course tuition.

Alternative Study Path Scholarship
Value: 15% of your total tuition costs
There’s more than one path to university. As an international student in Australia, you may be eligible for the Alternative Study Path Scholarship if you have completed studies onshore, or if you are in Australia and in the process of applying for a student visa. This scholarship covers 15 per cent of your total course tuition.

If you’re from Africa or the Subcontinent and are planning to study Health at Torrens University Australia full-time in 2023 & 2024, you have the opportunity to apply for this scholarship. It will cover 15 per cent of your total course tuition.
