Associate Dean of Hospitality
Associate Professor Simon Pawson is currently the Associate Dean of Hospitality and the Academic Director of Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School. His expertise encompasses the management of tourism and hospitality higher education, with particular interests in social and environmental justice, destination sustainability, responsible tourism, marketing, politics and tourism leadership across the Asia-Pacific Region. Previously Simon was Head of School of International Tourism, Hospitality Management and Retail Marketing at the International College of Management Sydney. Since becoming an academic, Simon has contributed papers annually at CAUTHE, APAC CHRIE and associated tourism conferences.

Dr. Emma Wong
Program Director (Postgraduate)
A Hongkonger by birth and Australian by choice, Dr. Emma Wong has two decades of experience in higher education both as an academic and administrator. In research, she specialises in tourism policy and politics, and has published in top journals including Annals of Tourism Research and Tourism Management. She has taught in universities in Hong Kong, Australia, Germany, the UK and mainland China, where she gained extensive experience in teaching multicultural cohorts. She returned to Australia in mid-2019 to take up the role of Postgraduate Program Director at the Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School.
