Torrens University collaborating with Ice Hockey Australia to make education more accessible

Darryn Melrose, the Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Industry Partnerships at Torrens University said both Torrens University and Ice Hockey Australia recognised the importance of education, and personal and professional skill development for those connected to the sport.

Industry placement opportunities for Torrens University students at Ice Hockey Australia

As part of the exchange, Ice Hockey Australia will grant Torrens University students access to invaluable industry placements. This immersive experience equips students with the hands-on skills essential for their future careers, fortifying their employability within the industry.

Adam Woolnough, General Manager at Ice Hockey Australia, said IHA would collaborate closely with Torrens University students on various industry projects, providing them with practical, real-world experience in day-to-day work-based initiatives, including working in teams.
