Stephen has more than 30 years’ experience in the hospitality industry with senior operational roles at both hoteland corporate office levels. Alongside his role as learning facilitator at Torrens University, he is currently the senior lead of global support at leading global commerce company Shopify. His experience across all facets of hospitality and business means his teaching is current and relevant to industry best practice.Adriana Gruber

Adriana is the Front Office Manager at Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School.Backed by a Bachelor of Arts, she ran a school in her native Brazil where she taught English and Spanish as second languages. Following this, she travelled and lived in Europe for many years where she discovered a passion for the world of hospitality. After moving to Australia in 2012, she continued to work in various front office hospitality positions before deciding to combine her two careers. She completed a Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching, then progressed to a Masters in Education (Innovation and Change), both through Torrens University. She brings her valuable expertise in both hospitality and education to her role at BMIHMS.
