Need some help with your classwork?

Getting used to post-high school study can be hard, especially if you’ve had an extended break from education. Through the Learning and Academic Skills Unit (LASU), Torrens University Australia offers support to help students learn their material effectively, reach deadlines and keep their studies moving forward.

Your LASU lecturer will assist you to continue to improve your skills during your study, both in specialist academic skills tutorials and bookable appointments. This service aims to significantly improve your assessment grades.

Our experienced team ensures that academic issues are dealt with and that students are supported in their learning. The team can also refer you to a counsellor who can offer confidential assistance to students with personal and welfare issues.

All students can access LASU resources online through the Student Portal, or for personal LASU support through Student Services and lecturers on-campus. Additionally, lecturers can refer students or students can contact Study Support (the Learning and Academic Skills Unit) directly.
