Program Director
Darren Peters is a Program Director for Business and Hospitality at Torrens University Australia. Passionate about personal and organisational innovation and growth, action plus academic research has focused on leadership, coaching, passions, wellbeing, and human locomotion. Prior experience has been gained as Director (Australian Institute of Sport Management, Australian Paralympic Committee), CEO or General Manager (Australian Paralympic Committee, Rowing Australia, Surf Lifesaving Australia), and Senior Management roles (Director, Campus Wellbeing and Engagement at Macquarie University), plus in customer service (Banking). Hobbies include sprint running and surfing.

Darren has worked in sport, education and the not-for-profit sector for more than 25 years, including nine years at the Port Adelaide Football Club (AFL) where he created the social enterprise Power Community Ltd. Darren is completing his PhD on corporate social responsibility at professional sport teams and is a life member of his local football club.
