The university prepares students for residency and medical licensure in the United States and other international registrations.
Our affiliation with St. George’s University School of Medicine offers a direct pathway to a Doctor of Medicine (MD). Torrens University’s students can begin their journey in Health Science in Australia before progressing to St. George’s University’s internationally recognised Doctor of Medicine (MD) program, with the option to start their medical studies in Grenada or the United Kingdom (UK). Graduates earn an MD from an accredited medical school, paving the way to practise as a doctor in the United States (US), United Kingdom (UK), or Australia*.
This pathway offers eligible students a streamlined admissions process, guaranteed interviews, provisional offers, exclusive scholarships**, and access to clinical training at more than 75 hospitals across the United States (US) and United Kingdom (UK).
