Sporting Facility Manager

Maintain the safe and efficient operation of club assets, including upkeep, repairs and security.

Sporting Facility Managers handle the day-to-day operations of clubs, arenas and fields to ensure events go off without trouble. Your day-to-day duties will include scheduling teams for practice sessions, supplying equipment is available for training and preparing the venue for upcoming sports competitions. You will also focus on the business side of the role, and manage the upkeep, sanitisation and safety standards of your sporting facility.

What does a Sporting Facility Manager do?

• Run the behind-the-scenes operations of sport facilities including football fields, basketball courts, golf courses and swimming pools
• Prepare business plans, budgetary requirements and inventory management initiatives
• Ensure quality playing conditions and safety for athletes
• Develop and implement safety and wellbeing protocols to create comfortable environments
