Brisbane Beauty Expo 2023 for current and future students

Brisbane Beauty Expo 2023

The Beauty Expo provides current and prospective Beauty and Aesthetics students with valuable insights.

We are delighted to invite our Bachelor of Health Sciences (Aesthetics) and Diploma of Beauty and Spa Practice students to join us at Torrens University Beauty & Aesthetics Industry Connect Mini Expo, at our Fortitude Valley campus, located on Bowen Terrace in Brisbane, on 15 March.

We’re inviting other Health course students too, including our Nursing students, and prospective students who have expressed interest in enrolling in the Beauty and Aesthetics courses.

At this exciting on-campus event, you will meet our industry partners within the Beauty and Aesthetics sector, and gain valuable insights into current practices and products. For our interstate students, we’ll be live-streaming the keynote talks by our guest speakers.

Bringing Beauty professionals, Aesthetics practitioners and students together

The Beauty Expo will give you the opportunity to connect with suppliers, practitioners and professional associations. You will receive the most up-to-date information about new and emerging technology and devices. And leaders in the Beauty and Aesthetics industry will offer their views on what the future of the Beauty and Aesthetics sector will look like.

In addition, clinic owners and employers will share valuable advice on how to succeed whilst transitioning from being a student to your chosen Beauty and Aesthetic career. Some industry partners will even promote employment and work-placement opportunities for current and graduating students.

What attendees can do at the Beauty Expo 2023?

This is a great opportunity to network and potentially gain employment. There will be lots of goodie bags, door prizes and giveaways, in addition to all the information you will receive about your industry.

At the trade and supplier expo, you can meet and chat directly with representatives from the industry partners who we have invited. Then, we will have our panel of guest speakers, followed by some time for socialising and networking.

Here is the program so you can plan your day:

  • 11.00 am – 12.30 pm: Industry guests and students connect
  • 12.30 pm – 1.30 pm: Guest-speaker panel (Dr Davin Lim, Katy Bacon, Charlotte Ralph)
  • 1.30 pm – 2.00 pm: Networking
