What is the Bachelor of Applied Entrepreneurship?

A Bachelor of Applied Entrepreneurship teaches the practical enterprise skills of the 21st century. It covers the important factors in establishing new businesses and start-ups for success, and provides a framework for students to develop unique business ideas as part of the degree.

Subjects and units

This course comprises of 24 subjects, which includes 18 core subjects and 6 elective subjects. Each subject involves 10 hours of study per week, comprising 3 hours of facilitated study and 7 hours self-directed study.

Admission criteria

Before you begin your application to study as a domestic student, check that you meet the requirements listed below.

Year 12 (Australian secondary school certificate) or equivalent,


Successful completion of a Vocational qualification (AQF Level 4 or above),


Successful completion of a Higher Education qualification.

Demonstrated ability to undertake study at the required level; formal, informal or non-formal study, completed or partially completed, demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success; or written submission to demonstrate reasonable prospect of success.
