What is a Graduate Diploma of Business Analytics?

The Graduate Diploma of Business Analytics prepares you to excel in the dynamic world of analytics, offering advanced skills across business analysis, data modelling, statistical analysis and visual analytics. With a practical focus, it empowers you to drive impactful, data-driven solutions in a commercial setting.

You will examine contemporary technologies and communication techniques to build your data and analytical capabilities, as well as your ability to converse with expert and non-expert stakeholders. You will learn how to elicit business requirements and recommend analytical solutions that seamlessly embed within business flows. The Graduate Diploma of Business Analytics also provides the ability to pathway into other study opportunities for further career development, including a Master of Business Analytics.

Subjects and units

Delivered both on campus and online, the Graduate Diploma of Business Analytics comprises of 6 core and 2 electives, each subject requiring 10 hours of study per week; three hours facilitated and seven self-directed. Assessments may include activity-based assignments or online quizzes. There are no formal exams.

An Australian Bachelor’s degree (AQF Level 7) or equivalent in a related discipline from a recognised tertiary institution;

OR

Any Australian Bachelor’s degree (AQF Level 7) or equivalent AND a period of relevant professional experience;

OR

A combination of relevant non-formal learning and professional experience;

OR

Applicants without formal qualifications are eligible to apply if they have extensive high-level relevant professional experience. Applications will be assessed on a case by case basis.

Guaranteed pathway and Recognition of Prior Learning

If you have already completed a qualification or gained skills through life or work experience, you may be able to credit this against your degree with us. Fees

Fee payment

Course fees can be paid across three study periods. Each instalment to be paid before the beginning of the academic stage census date.
