Associate Dean School of Analytics and Business Information Systems
Claire is the Associate Dean for the School of Analytics and Business Information Systems at Torrens. She has been teaching and researching in IT and business for over 20 years across a number of universities and countries including USA, Singapore, China and Vietnam. Her PhD research was in the area of Social Technologies and Digital Identity with wider interests in the use of social media as an inter-cultural tool, women in technology, social value creation, blockchain, and the digital skills revolution (with particular emphasis on the SFIA framework). In 2015, Claire was awarded the KPMG Acclaimed Educator Award and in 2023 a Paul Harris Fellowship from Rotary International. Claire has strong industry links and works as a Digital strategy consultant and sits on a number of boards.

Tony holds a PhD in machine learning in network security and a bachelor's in computer engineering, and has been responsible for the accreditation of prominent IT education programs across Australia. With more than 20 years of senior academic leadership experience in the Australian university sector, Tony is a certified senior member of the Australian Computer Society, Fellow at Engineers Australia (FIEAust) and the ACS accreditation review board. He serves as associate editor for a number of journals and has published more than 60 articles and conference proceedings related to AI, cybersecurity and industry 4.0, supported by a number of ARC Discovery Projects and industry-sponsored research projects.

Nandini holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence, a Master's and Bachelor's in computer science and Engineering(CSE). She has more than 20 years of teaching experience ( Australia and Overseas) for postgraduate and undergraduate courses in CSE, Info systems, and Networking. She has held various leadership roles in education sector.She is an active reviewer for many technical journals and has around 40 publications. She has supervised four PhD scholars in Big Data Analytics, Edge Computing, Semantic and Cognitive Computing areas. She is adept in developing quality learning materials for the blended learning environment, delivering effective classroom and lab instructions through active learning methodology.

Dr Aaron Bere serves as the National Academic Course Coordinator for Torrens University's undergraduate IT programs in Australia. His portfolio includes overseeing the comprehensive range of programs, comprising Diplomas and Bachelors in IT and Software Engineering (AI). With over 15 years of dedicated service in lecturing, research, and academic leadership, Aaron has garnered extensive experience both within Australia and on the international stage. As the National Academic Course Coordinator, Aaron plays a pivotal role in shaping the educational landscape of Torrens University. Driven by a commitment to student satisfaction and effective teaching, Aaron draws inspiration from Constructivist pedagogy. Aaron's research niche revolves around digital transformation for teaching and learning.

Dr Tayab is an innovative academic with 15+ years of experience in teaching, research, and management at higher education institutes (HEIs) where he has collaborated with multidisciplinary academics, industry, and international partners for the completion of cutting-edge industrial projects He has served as Co-Principal Investigator at ‘Haptics, Human-Robotics, and Condition Monitoring System Lab’ as part of the consortium of 11 labs working under the National Center of Robotics and Automation (NCRA). As part of the lab, he led a research team for the development of technology-driven innovative solutions for sustainable railway infrastructure. He has successfully collaborated and published research work on early fault detection and identification system development for three-phase induction motors, railway wheelsets, track surface faults, and the developmen of high-performance computing algorithms by using advanced signal processing, machine learning, and deep learning algorithms.

Khimji has also worked with global enterprises, authored a book titled "The Spiritual Journey of an Entrepreneur", and taught innovation, entrepreneurship and engineering at universities around Australia.
